Breast Anatomy

Posted in Gender Issues by admin on the April 30th, 2008

Breasts are made up of Fatty Tissue, Milk Glands, and Milk Ducts (carries the milk from the gland to the Nipple). Breasts do not have any muscle tissue. Breast shape is determined by the amount of Fatty Tissue it contains.

The raised circle of darker skin that surrounds the nipple is called the areola. The areola also contains Montgomery’s glands, which may appear as small, raised lumps on the surface of the areola. These glands lubricate the areola. The nipple and areola have specialized muscle fibers that make the nipple firm, and can make the nipple erect.

Breast, Areolas, and Nipples come in all shapes, sizes, and colors. Some girls’ nipples are always erect; some girl’s nipples get hard and stick out when they’re cold, or when they’re aroused. Some girls have inverted nipples; inverted nipples stick inward instead of outward.

Society has taught us what perfect breast should look like. Girls often feel that their breasts are the wrong size, shape, or color. The simple fact is that normal breast often looks different from what society shows us. No mater what, your breast are a beautiful part of who you are.

HOW TO PLAY ROULETTE

Posted in Top Entertainment by admin on the April 30th, 2008

Roulette is an extremely simple game. A wheel with numbered pockets mounted inside the sunken dish, is spun. Then the croupier [Dealer] places a small white ball into a groove around the rim of the dish and spins it in the opposite direction to the spin of the wheel. Gravity eventually causes the ball to fall onto the spinning wheel, where it bounces around until it comes to rest in one of the numbered pockets. Winning, and losing, depends on where the ball lands and which bets players had laid prior to the spin. Each spin of the wheel is a new game.

All bets are paid before the next spin, and all new bets must be made before the next spin. However, players can often continue to make bets right up to just before the white ball drops down and starts bouncing around the spinning wheel, which the croupier will indicate by calling out “no more bets”. Roulette is also the only casino game, apart from reel slots, where players are mere spectators and can make no decisions to affect the outcome of the game.

Satellite Phones Today

Posted in Hardware Hub by admin on the April 30th, 2008

The world has come a long way since the early days of the ‘Sputnik’! Satellite systems are now providing both voice and data communication for parts of the world where there is little or no land or cell phone provision. Using satellite telephones help you to keep in contact when you are in the air or out at sea. They also help us to track and remain in contact with adventurers who test the limits of endurance and skill. We are able to follow their routes, talk to them and receive images and movies from wherever they may be and we can be instantly ready to help them when things don’t go quite according to the plan.

How does it work then? The satellite phone transmits a signal, via an antenna to an orbiting satellite in a network of satellites then back to a ground station and a standard land based phone network. Sounds good doesn’t it? However, the line of sight signal path between the satellite telephone and satellite must not be obstructed. Even bad weather can sometimes be a problem. In general, reception is much better outdoors but if you are on a boat at sea or in a plane in the air then an external antenna might be needed.

Right now there are five major satellite phone service providers. Global Star and Iridium are still the largest. They offer an array of options for both businesses and the average person in the street. Iridium is perhaps the best known of them all for a variety of reasons. The company uses a network of 66 operational low-earth-orbit satellites and they have an additional 13 spare satellites too. The satellites are in orbits roughly 485 miles above the surface of the Earth.

They supply to an extensive variety of markets which include construction, mining, government, leisure and maritime. They also provide equipment to the military and to rescue and disaster relief organisations. Companies tend to sell their services through a collection of service partners, value-added resellers and manufacturers.

Wherever there is a need for reliable, go-anywhere communications you will see satellite phones being used. The military make extensive use of them, as do airlines and shipping. They can also be invaluable in disaster areas where there it’s likely that land based communications have been disrupted by the disaster or never existed in the first place. Satellite phones can be tracked too. This can come in handy when guiding aircraft into isolated areas quickly.

Trucks that travel close to the Alaskan pipeline are being fitted with satellite phones in a bid to combat terrorism. If a truck gets hijacked then the authorities are notified instantly using the satellite network. Using the same satellite phone, the hijacked truck can be disabled before the terrorist has a chance to use it as a weapon.

As a method of communication satellite telephones remain a very expensive option. It is more expensive than most cell phone calls. As the technology improves and becomes more widely used, the prices should begin to drop. At the moment Iridium claim that the cost of a satellite phone call is similar to the cost of an international roaming call. To improve public perception and possibly build the consumer market the industry is fund raising in Washington state to provide satellite phones and airtime free of charge to US National Guard soldiers serving in Iraq.

THE SECRET TO TURNKEY INTERNET BUSINESS SUCCESS

Posted in Web Portal by admin on the April 30th, 2008

The Internet has made it possible for us to bring our products
and services to so many people. Ten years ago, business
opportunities are introduced and handled only through word of
mouth, what is considered as the most powerful form of
advertising.

Today, we can bring our prospective clients on-the-spot audio
and video presentations as well as full explanations of our
business programs. With online ordering, customers can simply
shop at their very own online stores.

And these are all made possible by thousands of Turnkey Internet
businesses available online.

A Turnkey refers to a system that is equipped with everything
that is needed for it to function; ready to be put into
immediate use. Similar to the ignition of an automobile, the
user only turns a key to start using the product. All the
business tools, research, and design is supplied, installed, and
usually managed by one vendor.

With the numerous turnkey business opportunities existing today
(along with the new ones surfacing every day), careful attention
should be given on deciding which one is right for you.

One of the secrets of a successful turnkey Internet business is
to have a complete range of services that are all based on the
idea to have an online business up and running fast and easy.
Some of these features are:

Hosting package deals (usually in years) Free Domain name
Business ideas and concepts Software Designs by Professional
designing groups Business consultations Client only private
forums Marketing packages and Support Resell Rights on Software
Resell Rights on E-books Resell Rights on Scripts Professional
Website Templates Large Profit Affiliate Programs Business Plans
and Information Guides Private Reseller Membership area Web
Hosting

Aside from the system being complete, it should also be
automated; that is, the business virtually runs in itself. For
Store-type sites, for example, the shopping cart should be
able to track the users shopping session. Likewise, the system
should also allow for multiple forms of payment (such as
credit/debit cards, eGold, eCheck, or Paypal). A good turnkey
Internet business should also be able to cater to all levels of
business owners: the e-commerce beginners and advanced users
alike.

Moreover, to succeed with the Turnkey business opportunity of
your choice, you may want to make use of a powerful, risk-free
marketing tool called Affiliate Programs. Here, other companies
are in charge of holding the inventory and taking orders from
customers; you just focus on the marketing and nothing else.

There are many advantages of conducting advertising and
promotion (especially “how-to” information) on the Internet.
Some of them are listed below:

This form of business has very low start-up costs. You can
reproduce your products at no costs. Some products, especially
software packages, offer no shipping costs on the part of the
customers, as they are downloadable. There is no need to
maintain inventory just one copy of the product will do! You
can do the operations of the business at your own pace (be it
full-time or part-time). You can manage the business anywhere
(at the office, even at your own home). It offers high profits
at low risks.

The three fundamentals of affiliate sales and marketing program
are the following:

The number of visitors. Automated systems that are filled with
sales messages promoting your links have the aim to pull
people towards you, as opposed to other strategies that push
the products or services to people. The key is to create
appealing headlines and effective testimonials that catch the
attention of people and force them to pay attention.

>From visitors to customers. Offer products that are easy to sell
and that people are buying. You may want to ask possible
customers if they would buy a particular product, and how much
they are willing to pay for it.

A strong follow-up system. One sale most likely leads to
another. A strong follow-up system could allow you to generate
repeat business, with each product creating a desire for more.

While it is true that the Turnkey Internet business could make
you thousands of dollars a month with your computer, it still is
not the way to make much money. The secret to a successful
enterprise is to build a business that not only fits your budget
and your marketing area, but also based on your skills, personal
preferences, and interests.

The Stress of Mental Illness

Posted in World Of Health by admin on the April 29th, 2008

It might have started with a panic attack during your algebra
exam in high school. It then might have progressed into
depression in college, and post-partum depression after the
birth of your first child. At times, you might have even felt so
desperate that you wanted to commit suicide.

Or perhaps you have a brother who seems in the grips of
full-blown paranoia. No matter how much you try, you just cannot
reach him. He’s convinced that the FBI is watching his every
move, and no one can convince him otherwise. You want him to
seek professional help, but he is reluctant to do so.

Mental illness can create tremendous stress for a family.
Because the illness is so misunderstood, there is the problem of
the stigma attached to it. You might be ashamed or embarrassed,
either by your own mental illness or that of a close family
member or friend. You may feel as if you are all alone, that no
one else could possibly understand what you are going through.

Mental illness routinely creates financial stress for families.
Sometimes, overspending is a sign of manic-depressive disorder.
A depressed person might invest too much of the family income on
a collection of guns or hunting knives. Disputes over finances
can create great tensions for families, making it difficult for
them to cope.

In addition, mental illness creates tensions within
interpersonal relationships. You might be angry with a partner’s
mood swings–not understanding that it is a situation beyond his
or her control. You may be frustrated with a brother who doesn’t
seem able to hold down a job. You may simply not understand a
sister whose promiscuous lifestyle you consider to be dangerous.

The important thing to realize is that, while the stress of
mental illness can seem unbearable at times, it is entirely
manageable. If you are the individual suffering from mental
illness, make an appointment to see a reputable therapist. He or
she can help you sort out your problems and can recommend a
psychiatrist who can find the medication that is right for you.

Part of the stress of mental illness can be the difficulty
involved in finding a medication that works. You may find the
side-effects of a particular drug difficult to deal with at
first. Psychiatrists say it is best if you follow the doctor’s
recommendation and try to manage the side-effects as best you
can. Going off your medication can have disastrous
consequences–and can lead to a great deal more stress.

At times, you might find that your mental illness requires you
to go into the hospital for a time. Such hospitalizations can
increase your stress level. However, if you think of the
hospital stays as just steps on the road to recovery, you will
be able to handle the stress much more effectively.

Coping with another’s mental illness can be even more
stressful. Mental illness can be quite unpredictable, so it can
drain your emotional reserves. It can be highly difficult
dealing with a situation that changes so abruptly from one
minute to the next. One of the best things you can do for
yourself is to join a support group for family members of the
mentally ill. This can be tremendously cathartic.

You will be able to talk to other people who are going through
the same things that you are going through. You can draw comfort
and strength from this network of individuals. Some members of
your support group may even allow you to call them at home to
discuss your problems further. There is no substitute for a
listening ear, especially in the rough times.

You may also want to consider family counseling. In this way,
the entire family can be involved in a loved one’s recovery from
mental illness. You’ll be able to learn healthy coping
strategies for dealing with another’s illness, and you will be
able to communicate in an open, supportive atmosphere.

There is little doubt that mental illness can lead to life-long
stress. However, with a little bit of effort, you can learn to
manage this stress effectively. And you will find that you and
your family are better off as a result.

Working in Unusual Places

Posted in Hall Of Self Improvement by admin on the April 28th, 2008

I recently read that Malcolm Gladwell wrote most of his book Blink while away from his desk. He wrote at coffee shops, restaurants, and other public places.

I’ve only done a little of this myself, but I’ve always found it a valuable practice. If I feel stuck in a creative rut, working in a public place is a great way to get new ideas flowing.

On Monday I spent most of the day on the Las Vegas Strip (only a 20-minute drive from my house), alternating walking around and stopping at various places to write and/or eat. I didn’t bring my laptop just a pen and some folded up paper. Mostly I was brainstorming, so as soon as I’d get an idea, I’d stop and sit somewhere and write it down along with any others that came to mind. Usually I could find a good place to sit, like a food court area, but sometimes I’d sit and write at a slot machine. Then I’d get up and start roaming again. I started at the south end of the Strip at the Luxor Hotel and gradually worked my way up to the new Wynn Hotel and then back again. With all the wacky themed hotels, there’s an abundance of visual stimulation a giant pyramid, a castle, a miniature New York City, the Eiffel Tower, a pirate ship, Roman statues, a volcano… plus lions, tigers, and ferocious flamingos.

I love the vibrancy of the Strip… the ching-ching-ching of the slot machines, the cheers and groans around the craps tables, the unskilled blackjack players who don’t know you should always hit a soft 17, the rowdy college kids, the happy newlyweds and their wedding parties, and of course… the buxom cocktail waitresses who look like they’re about to spill more than a tray of drinks. ;)

Oddly it’s sometimes easier to concentrate when I’m surrounded by distractions. I think the reason is that I know they’re distractions, so I can tune them out more easily. But in my home office, I’m surrounded by unconscious distractions the kinds of things that seem important but aren’t. When you go out and leave your computer and internet connection behind, you can’t succumb to routine distractions as easily. If you bring only one kind of work with you, like a pen and paper for brainstorming, you can’t easily kid yourself that you’re working when you aren’t. You can’t simply claim to be working merely because you’re at the office. The line between working and not working becomes much sharper.

Try spending at least a half day away from your usual work environment. Walk around, eat at interesting places, and just sit for a while. Change your scenery often. Bring some simple work where you can carry all the materials in your pocket, like a pen and paper for brainstorming.

If you can’t take the time away from your office to do this, then do it for yourself on one of your days off. Take a list of decisions you need to make, and consider them one by one as you walk. Set some new goals. Write a personal mission statement.

Great ideas don’t always come knocking on your office door. A day outside can help scramble those stale inputs and get your creative juices flowing again.

When to QUIT

Posted in Online Gambling by admin on the April 27th, 2008

When to quit

Before you decide if you are going to play in online casinos or
going to a casino, there’s something you need to think about if
you want to be successful. MONEY, if you don’t know how much
money you are willing to spend you might win but you might end
up losing more than what you should. Make sure you decide how
much money you want to play and stick with that, avoid going to
an ATM or to try to use more money to recoup your losses.

After you have in mind how much money you are going to spend
then you need to divide that amount of money with the days you
are planning to play. Don’t use more money that you planned per
day. Having that in mind then you should go and play. If you
need some tips about slot machine you can go to on
line casinos articles and find some articles.

WHEN TO QUIT?

That’s a good question. If you don’t know when to quit you are
going to end up losing money. You need to know that you should
never quit while you are winning.

First, you need to know what it’s your betting limit, the next
step is to read the playing rules for each games.

NEVER QUIT WHILE YOU ARE WINNING, QUIT WHILE YOU ARE AHEAD.

Never try to recoup losses by increasing your bet size.

Quit when you reach your loss limit

Quit when you are not happy with the dealers

Don’t play with money that you can’t afford to loose.

Don’t try to chase your losses.

When you drink too much

If you can’t have a money discipline, you should try to find
some help and QUIT playing.

DirecTV vs Dish Network - Price Wars!

Posted in Top Entertainment by admin on the April 27th, 2008

As many people know, satellite TV is the wave of the future. It
seems as though no matter where we go these days, it is very
common to see a satellite dish on the side of at least a couple
houses. We have gotten past the days of the large dishes that
sat on lawns, and moved onto the smaller versions that are
mounted on the sides of houses facing north.

There are two main competitors that provide satellite TV
services. This is great news for the consumer because they are
constantly fighting for your business; unlike cable who seemed
to be on their own for a while, and started to increase fees and
has terrible customer service (I speak from experience). This
fighting has lead to many price wars, as well as offers of free
satellite dishes, free satellite receivers, free installation,
free movies, and much more. We are now able to get free
equipment and installation at a very low monthly cost. It turns
out that getting satellite television, which offers more
channels, and better reception is cheaper than the old cable way
of receiving TV.

As I mentioned earlier, there are two main competitors that
provide satellite television. These competitors are DirecTV and
Dish Network.

DirecTV has been around since 1994 and now has a clientelle of
over 12 million. Known as the United States #1 satellite TV
provider, DirecTV provides 225+ channels to select from, as well
as some sporting programs that are not offered by their
competitor such as Mega March Madness and NFL Sunday Ticket.
DirecTV provides services throughout the United States as well
as Puerto Rico.

Dish Network is another popular satellite TV provider. With over
10 million customers that subscribe to their company. They are
the second most popular satellite TV provider, second only to
DirecTV. Dish Network came about in 1996 which has given DirecTV
a bit of a head start, but definitely has not slowed them down
in any way. Dish Network has been competing intensely with
DirecTV, and offers a larger channel selection. For the past few
years, these companies have constantly tried to out do one
another with offers of free things, which benefits us, the
consumer immensely.

Now is a great time to look into upgrading from your current
television provider to a satellite TV provider!

I found a really great site that has great information about
satellite TV. Check it out.

Colon Cleansing and Colon Cancer Prevention

Posted in World Of Health by admin on the April 27th, 2008

The colon is one of the most important organs in the body. Its intended purpose is to return water and nutrients into our bodies and help us eliminate waste. American diets are low in fiber and digestive enzymes. This causes the body produce digestive enzymes at the expense of immune system enzymes.

The low level of fiber prevents the colon from cleaning itself and causes a buildup of toxic matter in the colon. The buildup of toxic matter in the colon can lead to many health problems, the most serious of which is colon cancer. The weakened immune system is unable to fight the disease.

Colon cleansing helps the body rid itself of toxic matter. This in turn allows the colon to aid in the digestive process and allows the production of immune system enzymes to return to normal.

There are several ways to cleanse your colon. One is hydrotherapy, where a small disposable plastic hose is used to irrigate the colon. A licensed professional must perform this procedure. Similarly, enemas are often thought to cleanse the colon, but they have been shown to only clean the bottom portion and rectum.

Herbal supplements are often used in colon cleansing as well. A plant product called psyllium is most usually the base of these treatments. The psyllium’s fiber expands when it comes in contact with water, and the bulky material causes the bowel to contract and expel waste.

There are also oxygen based cleaners that turn the waste into liquid or gas and help it to be expelled.

Another way is to do juice fasting. Juice fasting gives the entire digestive system a much needed rest and for optimal functioning to take place once again after the break.

In a nutshell, colon cancer can be preventable. If you find yourself having meals that are low in fiber, just do a colon cleanse. A clean colon will mean a healthy colon and a better immune system for your body.
